This is my first ever encounter with Linux customizing and i think it worked great... having enabled the Compiz effects and then tinkering with it shows how much Linux is far better in terms of Windows.... this shot took me almost some time as I was working on tweaking my Windows machine at the same time too but I think I may switch to Linux for a while now and get it's beauty... :D

Well this is Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 using NowPlaying Screenlet and Avant Window Manager and nothing else...
The icons are from Galaxy GUI and are mod icons....

both are cool though.
I have a linux computer somewhere maybe i'll dig it up when i get the time to make it work as i please. takes awhile, i'm so used to windows and it's ability to get haxxxed so easily. d:

I didn't used both... It's Ubuntu for real and not Windows... I used Avant Windows Navigator for the dock, it comes in 2D style but it needs heavy tinkering to get this type of effect... although this is better than the Windows's available software's, I think the Leopard Dock and this are quite similar/work same.. !

Yes... you can use Windows Software's in Linux through Wine Emulator, but it doesn't give you the desired result always...

hmmm i know

tried to use "project 64" (a nintendo 64 emulator) with wine...

...it was like 5 spf
